A typical day as a Warehouse Technician

  • Receiving all goods into the warehouse and sorting and organizing the warehouse
  • Receiving multiple shipments of medical equipment from suppliers for stock and customer special orders.
  • Preparing and receiving transfers of equipment from other NSM locations. Notifying Customer Service Representatives and Rehab Equipment Specialists when items have arrived.
  • Answering the telephone and helping colleagues at other NSM locations looking for equipment in your location.
  • Examining equipment returned from rental for damage or missing components.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting equipment returned from rental or demonstration.
  • Machine laundering of washable equipment components.

Our Preferred Candidate

  • Can demonstrate previous exp. in shipping and receiving or worked in a fast warehouse environment.
  • Can demonstrate previous exp. in documenting all the incoming and outgoing shipping in a timely manner, including using a computerized system.
  • Can demonstrate previous exp. in inspecting and reporting any damaged goods
  • Criminal record check
  • All applicants are required to be in compliance with all orders and directions related to public health and workplace safety in their intended province of employment. Given the nature of this role, NSM requires applicants to, among other things, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide satisfactory proof of vaccination.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Can demonstrate an ability to lift 75lb in weight.
  • Must be willing to support cleaning the returned rental equipment
