As Data Management and Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for the coordination, monitoring, analysis and reporting of assessment and program evaluation data across the four years of the MD Program. Your strong communication skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be integral when consulting with end-users of data and when troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to information/learning management and survey software. Your demonstrated ability to coordinate data management processes, conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and your application of data quality control procedures will play a critical role for the ongoing success and improvement of program evaluation in the MD Program.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring system functionality and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Running data queries, identifying and resolving data discrepancies and anomalies, and generating data quality reports
  • Analyzing complex statistical reports and preparing statistical reports for review
  • Developing and maintaining quality control procedures
  • Analyzing processes and recommending changes for greater efficiencies

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of related experience within an academic environment, teaching hospital, or comparable environment
  • Experience maintaining systems and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, including experience with a variety of data collection, data extraction and analysis tools
  • Experience preparing statistical and descriptive reports
  • Experience identifying, developing and maintaining data quality controls
  • Knowledge of assessment and evaluation of education programs
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, information and learning management systems and survey tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize information
  • Strong database management, spreadsheet and presentation design skills
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and manage competing priorities and processes, while maintaining high level of quality
  • Ability to work in a team environment and exercise tact, discretion, flexibility and sound judgment

Assets (Nonessential):

  • Assessment and evaluation experience in a medical education capacity
  • Experience working with MedSIS, Elentra, Qualtrics and ExamSoft

USW Pay Band 10 – $62,464 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $79,879. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
